growing up in ulm, germany, tung had a lot of struggles with identity just as any other immigrant child. in order to find answers and escape reality he wrote stories and watched movies whenever he could.
having studied film, tung writes his own scripts and realises them in order to reach an audience, that might have the same struggles and questions as him. award winning short movies like finding glenwood, ngày mai and short documentaries are in his repertoire.
in a fast growing visual world, it’s easy to forget oneself and lose track of things that are important, and it’s tung’s vision to remind us of the beauty in struggle and in the vulnerability of the human condition.
